New members are accepted throughout the year. 2. How much will it cost to join FCWC? Membership fee is $55 for a full year (June 1 - May 31). We do not have floating years, i.e., if you join in October, your yearly membership does not extend until the following October; all memberships are renewable on May 31. New members joining from January 1-May 30th pay a prorated rate of $28 for that time period; after that, their dues will also be $55/year. 3. What is included with my membership? Membership includes a monthly Newsletter, online Membership Roster, and information about opportunities to participate in the FCWC Interest Groups, Luncheons, Charity Activities, and other Events. You will receive the monthly newsletter via email and have access to our downloadable .pdf file of the membership roster. With the addition of our password- protected Members Only pages on our website, you will have access to a total of 22 fact-filled pages reserved for members only, such as the scrumptious recipes page from one of our popular groups, Taste & Share. 4. Where does the Club hold its functions? Our monthly luncheons are held at the Polo Golf Club, 6300 Polo Club Dr, Cumming, GA 30040 on the 3rd Thursday of the month. Our other Interest Group activities take place at various locations; some are held in interesting restaurants, and others, in members’ homes depending on the Interest Group. The pertinent details of where and when are all accessible in our monthly newsletter as well as on our Newsletter and Newsletter Archive pages. 5. What other fees are involved? The monthly luncheons cost $26 and are never mandatory to attend. This includes a delicious lunch buffet and an entertainment program. Some Interest Groups visit restaurants, movie theaters, or area attractions which involve associated costs. Please refer to the Interest Group section of this site for more information on all of these activities. 6. Can I bring a friend to lunch? Members are always welcome to bring a friend(s) to the luncheons subject to space availability; the cost for your guest’s lunch is $26. 7. Are spouses and significant others included in some of the functions? Yes, spouses and significant others are included in some of the evening functions such as the Evening Bridge, Main Course, Shanghai, and Friday Night Chill.
